The Bucket List

One of my biggest motivations to lose weight and get healthy is to be able to live life to the fullest, so I have created a list of things I hope to be able to achieve during this journey, broken down into four categories: Felling "Normal", Fitness, Great Adventures, and Relationship. I plan to add to this list, and will cross them off when I complete them.
Feeling "Normal"
when you are over 400lbs, one of the biggest desires is simply to blend in, to be able to do things that most people do without thinking about it

-Buy a stepstool
-Climb into a boat from the water
-Climb to the top of a ladder
-Comfortably take a bath (regular size)
-First and middle finger fit around wrist
-Get a Manicure and Pedicure
-Get a massage
-Get a short haircut
-Get ring re-sized
-Have a BMI that is not “Obese”
-Learn to walk in heels
-Sit comfortable in a movie theater seat
-Sit in a booth without belly touching
-Sit in car without belly touching steering wheel
-Ride all the rides at an amusement park
-Rock on a porch swing
-Wear an XL shirt and pants in public
-Lay in a hammock
-Pull myself out of the pool without a ladder

a few milestones to prove to myself that I am becoming a fitter, healthier me.

-Climb over 100 stairs
-Do a full pull-up
-Do a full push-up
-Run 5k
-Run 10k
-Run up 3 flights of stairs
-Reach the top of a rock climbing wall

Great Adventures
the once-in-a-lifetime activities I can only dream about at my starting weight

-Be on a game or reality tv show
-Bike at least one day of Ragbrai (or equivalent ride)
-Scuba Diving
-Water Skiing
-Whitewater Rafting
-Horseback Riding
-Hot air balloon ride
-Jet Skiing
-Travel to Australia
-Travel to Europe
-Walk by someone I know without them recognizing me
-Ropes Course
-See all 50 states

due to my size and lack of self-confidence and self-worth, I have never been in a serious relationship. I do not see these milestones as separate like the rest of this list,, but as a sign that I am ready to invest in a loving relationship with another person.

-Be kissed
-Go on a date
-Have someone fully wrap their arms around me
-Have someone pick me up
